RealmweaverIntegrations

ChatGPT and Claude

Your world bible, inside the assistant you already use

Connect Realmweaver and your assistant stops inventing details it should know. It reads your actual entries, checks your drafts against your actual rules, and files new ideas where they belong. The wiki stays the source of truth. The assistant just gets to read it.

What it can do

  • Look things up

Ask about any character, place, faction, or rule and get the answer from your wiki, facts included, instead of a guess.

  • Check a passage

Paste a scene or a page of prose and ask whether it contradicts anything you have already established. Findings cite the entries they conflict with.

  • Save an idea as a draft

If a new detail comes up mid-conversation, the assistant can file it as a draft on the right entry. Nothing becomes canon until you approve it in Realmweaver.

  • Suggest what to build next

Ask what is thin in your world and it will point at the entries that need a session, with a link that opens one.

Checking a passage runs a consistency check and uses Ink from your account, the same as it does in the app. Looking things up and saving drafts are free.

What it cannot do

  • Run a Realmweaver session, edit an entry directly, or delete anything. Those stay in the app, where you can see what is changing.
  • See worlds that are not yours, or anything beyond the account you connected.
  • Keep access after you disconnect. Disconnecting in Settings cuts it off immediately.

How to connect

Claude

  1. Open Claude, go to Settings, then Connectors.
  2. Choose Add custom connector. Name it Realmweaver and paste this URL:
https://realmweaver.io/api/mcp
  1. Click Connect. A Realmweaver window opens. Sign in if asked, then choose Allow.
  2. Back in Claude, ask it something about your world. The first time, it may ask you to enable the connector for that chat.

Also works in Claude Code and any client that supports remote MCP servers with OAuth.

ChatGPT

  1. Open ChatGPT, go to Settings, then Apps & Connectors.
  2. Under Advanced settings, turn on Developer mode. (Until Realmweaver is listed in the ChatGPT app directory, this is how custom connectors are added.)
  3. Choose Create. Name it Realmweaver, set the authentication to OAuth, and paste this URL as the server:
https://realmweaver.io/api/mcp
  1. Save, then connect. A Realmweaver window opens. Sign in if asked, then choose Allow.
  2. In a new chat, pick Realmweaver from the tools menu, or just mention your world and let ChatGPT reach for it.

Things to try

  • “What does my world say about the river crossing at Isen?”
  • “Here is chapter four. Does anything in it contradict my lore?”
  • “Save a note on Théoden: he was born in the year the mountain burned. Make it a draft.”
  • “Which of my characters are the least developed?”

Privacy and control

You approve each assistant once, on a Realmweaver screen, and you can see exactly what it asked for before you do. What you say to the assistant is handled by its provider under their terms. Realmweaver only answers the specific questions it sends.

Your content is never used to train AI models, connected or not. You can disconnect any assistant from Settings, and its access ends the moment you do. The full policy is in our privacy policy.

Building your own client?

The endpoint is a standard remote MCP server with OAuth 2.1, PKCE, and dynamic client registration. Discovery lives at /.well-known/oauth-authorization-server and /.well-known/oauth-protected-resource. Scopes are worlds:read and worlds:write.
